It's a simple question, what is the best way to get a 13-year-old into acting fast? We don't live in a very busy place so we'd have to go a long time to get to the nearest auditions. Is there any way to get in the biz easier?

Do not do what the 1st person said. These are almost always scams because if they "come" from LA or NYC there's the # 1 problem-THEY DON"T NEED TOO-(there's enough talent already right there where they are). What they want is your $ for classes or other things that they'll promise you. Don't be fooled by all the so called shows or actresses they claim to represent or have gotten started either. Been there, not done that! There is not fast easy way into acting especially if you are far from a large city. How about some professional classes,or have her try out for a school or other local play. Our daughter went to a performing arts high school in our city but our city is not big for actors either so she's going to major in Acting in college next year in another city or state. Good luck!!!!!

30 pounds is a lot, especially depending on how tall you are and how much you currently weigh. Some things to do: ALWAYS eat breakfast ~ high protein (good for the brain). eggs, oatmeal, bacon, cereal, milk, and a little fruit. If you don't have time to "fix" a breakfast, have a quick peanut butter sandwich. SNACK Have a protein bar, such as Cliff bars or something similar, cheese, almonds, peanuts. Again, a pb sandwich will work too. LUNCH Eat a good sized, healthy lunch. A salad alone is NOT lunch. You need a meal with side items. Make it balanced ~ fruit, veggie, carb, protein, and even a bite of desert (that is a weight watchers tip. A small serving is okay). SNACK same as a.m. snack DINNER Eat a real dinner, but don't eat after 8 p.m. and go easy on the desert (that is why I said eat it at lunch). Make sure you drink with your meals as the water will help you from eating too much. Remember, your body is growing and changing, therefore you need to eat to give your body the proper nourishment to properly develop.

your child must take acting clasess for 10 or 12 years, if she seriously wants to be an actor. There isn't a "fast-track" to acting. It takes many years of study, many years of auditioning, and rarely making money in the industry.

Start out small. Ask shops if they have commercial auditions. It's worth a try.

Start out slow with your high school drama class. This will teach you vital information you will need later.

Your child must be ready and prepared so just take little lessons at the time.
