In previous IE, my Favorites remained open on left side of screen until I chose to close it. I would like it to remain open. How do I do this?

Umm, click on the star icon, once the favorites are open, click the green arrow button at the top of the favorites to "Pin" it on. It will stay open then.

Sometimes this won't happen in some computers. Other times you'll have to click on a gold star or another symbol with favorites written beside it.
