I am getting my wisdom teeth removed in two days...(getting put to sleep for it) is it true that if you have a cold before hand then you cant get it done?? because i woke up yesterday morning with a cough, sore throat (feels like im coming down with a cold...) is it true that i mite not be able to get my teeth out in a couple of days now?? does anybody know?? how can i quickly try to get better before then??

If im feeling better in on the day of the surgery then will they go ahead with it then??

=I would call the dental office because usually they will re-schedule the surgery if you have a cold, however I have also heard that if they can start you on antibiotics within 24 hours of the surgery you age good too go. Best of Luck and better call right away

If you have a fever on the day of the surgery, the doctor may not allow it. I had a 101 temp the morning of my tonsillectomy, but I didn't feel sick. They went ahead with the surgery.

Rest, drink some chicken soup, and get plenty of fresh air. If you start to get a fever, pile on the blankets at night to make you sweat. By morning you should feel better.
