you need to push select
i forget if you push select, and enter 7444 next, or if you push 7444, then push select, so just push select before and after
another screen should pop up that asks what you would like the new code to be

when you first get the ps2 u set ur own code you cann not ever re do it.

insert dvd message parental level -> yes -> X next window -> press select -> delete passcode ->enter 7444 -> deletion complete -> resister new passcode
