Why do people hate handy capt people?

My little brother Cameron he is 15 he has Down-Syndrome people look at him like he is a freak and think God cursed my parents the doctors wanted my parents to put him in a syco place when he was born.I just don't get it

Yes we all love my brother everyone in my family treat him like a normal person they look past his disability's

A lot of people don't know how to react around those with disabilites. Don't let them bother you because your brother could pick up on this. Ignore those who are uncomfy because they are either uneducated or ignorant people. No matter where you go, you are going to meet people who have no clue how to treat someone who is a different skin color or disabled, those people are lacking people skills and should not affect you. I know its hard, but its their own fear, don't let their fear influence your feelings.

People can be very cruel. It shows that they have not been raised in a proper family environment and their parents probably have the same attitudes. In a split second anyone can become handicapped and there is nothing funny about it.

I think you might be wrong. Most people are both afraid of offending the family of handicap people and curious. They don't realise that they are being rude.

That is more likely to happen with someone who looks and acts a little differently.
