Congratulations on your pregnancy, There is 2 kinds of waters breaking, its not water so it doesn't look or smell like water.
A quater of labours start when the amniotic sac surrounding the baby breaks and the amniotic fluid escapes. Once the baby's head is engaged the fluid is seperated, with the "forewaters" beneathhim and the "hindwaters" above. If there's only a trickle its proberly your forewaters, but if there is a gush it's the hindwaters too and full labour is very likely to follow within 24 hours. If your waters break you should call the hospital. You'll proberly be told to come in, as both you and baby will need to be checked.
My personal experance has been both the gush first pregnancy and the trickle the second. The gush was a big "pop" then not long after my son was born, I was in the water so I didn't see it just felt it. With my daughter her forewater broke and i was on the toliet when it started, it was just like extra dripping, I put a panty liner on and it was full by the time I go to my bathroom so I then used maturnity pads so I could finish doing what I needed to do before going to hospital, Ot was a constant leek, my pads were an odd smell not bad just a different smell, once I went to the doctor over an hour later they checked and it was positive.
The hospitals have a cotton bud that changes colour when it is positive to your waters breaking, so the best thing to do if you think it is your waters then go to the hospital and get checked. You may be sent home if not dilated over 4 cm but you will know that things are happening, its much easier to endure your first stages of labour in the comfort of your own home as you are more relaxed, if you go to the hospital you may get axious and low labour down, this is why they send you home until in the second stage which is dilating from 4cm - 10 cm.
Best of luck hope it all goes very smoothly for you. Be as relaxed as can be and remember what the outcome is a beautiful healthy baby. Congratulations.

moist ignition parts received't enable your engine run. the potential of the spark plugs receives shunted to the block. The distributor can get moist interior and reason a no-run condition, yet none of which will save the starter from turning the engine. Water in a cylinder will carry the engine from turning. that is complicated that the engine nonetheless received't turn over with the spark plugs out and without compression it may nicely be spinning like a real, swifter than universal. If the air filter out gort moist, the engine took a drink. So unhappy. Water can carry out a touch quite nasty issues to an engine. Connecting rods can get bent or pistons can get damaged like hitting them with a hammer even as the engine hydrolocks. also electical damage is conceivable. The alternator may be shorted out after drowning and the starter may be shorted to boot, besides the undeniable fact that the starter may get better even as dry. The alternator received't get better. Pray, then sparkling and tighten all the electric powered connections, starting up with the battery. call your coverage company. You bumped into something and it busted up your automobile. You paid for protection. that is time to collect. Head gaskets do not say a mumbling observe even as they flow undesirable. that is purely that performance suffers and some different passive indications arise.

When I had my first baby, a fluid fluid leaked out very slowly every so often for a couple of hours. Went to see the midwife bit embarrassed cos thought I was weeing myself. She took a sample and tested it to see if it was amniotic fluid and it was. Started getting contractions couple of hours later. She said that your waters can break and then the baby's head can plug the hole and when it shifts a bit leaks out. Very common. Give your midwife a ring, explain you think you may be in labour and they should ask you to come in. Once you start losing amniotic fluid you should go straight to be seen!!
Fantastic good luck. Baby gonna come soon!!!!!!!

I would call the doctor or even go to the hospital. It sounds as though you are leaking amniotic fluid. When your water breaks it doesnt have to be a big gush like you sometimes see. It can be a slow trickle. Congrats!

when your waters break , it can be a slow trickle or a bucket load. if the water is cloudy or discoloured you should phone your miwife/labour ward ,as it could be that baby has had a movement and could ingest this. the same thing happened to me and i had to go into hospital where they monitered baby and started me off. your midwife can give you the best advice , don't be scared to use her knowledge. good luck .

sounds like you have a leak, my wife did it was a slow trickle for about 5 hours before it burst. It was thin, and slightly cloudy. Took her to the hospital and the Dr and I was looking at the sample he took under the microscope.

Beleive me you will know when your water breaks. It probably won't be completley clear (not all of it) there might be blood. You will feel it and know. When my water broke it kind of hurt and it was a big gush of fluids. you won't need to ask if it was your water that broke. My first one the water started leaking and it was clear, not white.
good luck

Don't worry, perfectly normal. But check it out with your GP/midwife/antenatal teacher. Don't worry if anyone finds it offensive either - it only means they're a bird-brained loser, or a 'man'. Best of luck!
