Syngaporeans enjoy a quality of life that's envied in other countries- especially in other Asian countries.

I want to know the meaning of envied.

It means that other people look at the lifestyle and quality of life of people in Singapore and wish their lives could be like that too.

It simply means that people in Singapore have a better quality of life than people in other Asian countries. The other countries are "envious" or "jealous" of them.

If you envy a person, you want to be like them for what they have or can do. You basically want to be like someone, or own something that they have.

envied comes from teh word envy. When you envy someone you can say you are somewhat jealous of them, you want what they have.
