Dallas is taking it this year. Mike Modano will lead them to the finals..

I'm a Stars fan and I hope they do win! They have acquired some major players who have been great assets to the team - Barnaby, Ribeiro, Lindros, Halpern...need I go on? And yes, we all know Marty doesn't do so well in the playoffs, but give the guy a break! He's off to his best start ever, so why can't the playoffs be any different? Plus they have an awesome backup goalie in Mike Smith, who has really proven himself the few games he's played in this year.

And for all you bitter fans out there of the Stars' Stanley Cup win...stop your crying, grow up, and get over it. What good does it do focusing on the past when you can't change anything? You might as well focus on the season at hand and what a great start your Sabres are off to now.

I personally don't think they will, consider the very tough Western Conference. Anaheim will win the Pacific Division. Dallas will probably get the 6 or seven seed, and will face the NorthWest division champs Calgary flames. I think Calgary will beat them in 5 in the 1st round.

no they shouldn't win cause it will not sell the game.and everyone knows the big problem is in Dallas its Turco for the past 5 years he has one of the best GAA in the league but he falls apart in the playoffs every year, kind of reminds me of Czechmanik of the Flyers great regular season bad post season.

novaicedo...>>>> you probably never even watched a hockey game till Dallas won the cup and Hull's foot was in the crease way before the puck was in the crease and then went in the net, you that dumb its been said NO GOAL after millions of reviews but yes they cant go back and change it now, but it clearly was no goal. even a blind men could tell it was no goal.

GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

No, I don't think they've got a chance. Anaheim, San Jose, Buffalo, Nashville are all deeper teams with better playoff goaltending.

they have a chance. but there are other very good teams such as the sabers :+{ ducks, wild, and maybe nashville. turrco is doing a phenomenal job this season so maybe he can lead his team to at least making the playoffs. Go stars (lindros), wild (parrish), and ducks!!!!!!!!( fav s. niedermayer!)

No one thinks they should win the Stanley Cup this year.
I still don't think they should have won it when they "beat" the Sabres.

Go Kings Go!!!!!!
