Even in states that have legalized the medical use of marijuana (e.g. California) the DEA still stepped in and prosecuted individuals under federal laws even when complying with the state laws. So I would be concerned even if a state legalized the possession of small amounts of marijuana (e.g. Alaska) that the Feds might not agree.

If people ever smarten up. Why can you get a prescription for oxycontin and percodan but not cannibis? Also if it's legallized, it'll be regulated and potheads will finally be in the category where they belong.

recreationally....no not unless they can figure out a way to market it, tax it and control the distribution of it through stores. But medically I believe in some states it is used for treating cancer patients.
