Yes, I do agree with this. Money doesn't make one happy but it helps out a lot. Here's a quote I made up myself. It's sort of similar to the one you wrote.

Money may rule the world
but love makes it go around

The Bible states that Money is the root of all evil. It is not evil in itself for it is merely a piece of paper.
For money to bring forth evil an individual must first have a weakness towards temptations that money can easily access.
It is merely the key that opens the Pandoras Box that is already there in any ungrounded individual.
I personally see money as more of a mirror into peoples lives revealing who they truly are by how they implement money.
If an individuals money greatly benefits those in need, it reveals a warm heart in the individual.
If money brings an individual to ruin through greed or squander, it reveals moral bankruptcy.

Happiness cannot come from physical things. It comes from inner perspective solely. Granted, amusement may come from things, but not happiness.

Moeny just allows for the one who is endowed with wealth to spend less time worrying about financial matters, which places the onus on other things that may lead to unhappiness.

I personally know 4 millionaires. They are some of the most unhappy people that I know.

People who say money can't buy happiness, don't no where to
shop.

My opinion is that money is only a tool and if used correctly, can
go along way towards getting you happy. One of the ways to
use it correctly is to help others achieve what they want.

I absolutely agree with that statement. Most of the arguements people have, most of the stresses we all have are usually money-related. What a lovely life it would be if we didn't have this! Money is NOT the root of all evil. If you don't have food, shelter etc......how can you live on love?

Such a 'statement', is, in reality, meaningless noise.

I think that is a good line.
The Beatles stated, "Money can't buy love."
I would add Money can get you close enough.
