It could be that the minds r not really idle but just the opposite. Maybe some people have so much on their mind and silly questions are their way to relax. Just maybe.

I think the cause of some dumb questions is the fact that decent questions often get deleted by...well, you know.

yeah, stupid questions on yahoo today... i'm really getting tired of all this nonsense with "how do you like my name", "do you think i'm hot", etc. where has the majority of the great askers gone? hmmm
