I just saw the Christmas bonus that was given to someone who works there. After a few paragraphs of "After all your hard work this year" and " thank you for all your hard work and making Wal-mart what it is"........They give them an extra 10 percent off of a single item!
That means, "after all their hard work", if they spent $100.00 on one item (if they could afford that after what they get paid) , their bonus would be a whopping $10.00 off!
I think that is a slap in the face and Wal-mart should be ashamed!!!!!
I work for a small company that struggles and I get much more than that, and I don't have to buy anything to get it.
It makes me sick and I wish there was something I could do about it in addition to just not shopping there anymore.
Any ideas?

Wal-mart is pocketing BILLIONS.....I think they could share the wealth just a little. At least GIVE them $10.00 instead of making them spend $90.00 for the measly amount!

Stop shopping there is a great idea that I wish more Americans would get into their heads. But, don't stop there. Try to not shop at any store owned my a corporation. I know that it is easier said then done. Anytime you need to buy something, spend a little bit of time in your phone book to find more options. Find small hardware, coffee, grocery, gardening, book, and clothing stores that are owned by local people in your town. Support them rather then the starbucks, wal-mart and gap. Make your family presents or buy nice things at thrift stores. You do not need to be a consumer to large corporations, there are options. Christmas will be a really good time to test this out. Try not to step foot in a mall all season. See what you can find in the rest of your city. Good luck! I am happier for my lifestyle change in this direction.

So write to them and say you want them to put their prices up by 50% so they can pay their staff a decent wage.
