No they don't because they do not even know what babies are. IF you think about it, they don't think in words in their heads either, they think through sight and sound. Theyre very simple as babies and when they see another baby, they think "Oh, another small person I can interact with!!"

We are bigger to them, and after a few months of living, they realize we have higher authority and there is something special about us. We feed them, comfort them, love them and give them all that they need. By a year of age, babies realize they are the "baby" of the family. My duaghter is 18 monhts, and even though she is a toddler, she is still my baby girl. :D

The word 'Babies', like the word 'furniture' is a concept representing a group with some similar characteristics. A baby has to start with individual objects, its nomenclature, recalling of it, compare, etc, and thus slowly evolve the logical skills. Even self-awareness comes after some time. So they do not know that they are babies, and experience themselves only instinctively.

I'm just thinking back to when I was a baby....I guess the difference is that rooms and buildings and adults all look really large in comparison. So maybe as soon as they're able to look in the mirror that's when babies can realize that they're babies; because they compare.

No, as a matter of fact babies don't know what they are. They learn that they are human but by the time they actually realize they are babies they really aren't babies anymore.

No. Babies do not have that knowledge of who what where and when yet, the only thing they do have knowledge of is natural instincts such as crying when they're either in pain or hungry or when they're diapers are wet. They also have the knowledge of who their mother is, but no, they do not know they are babies.

I want to say no because my nephew who just turned 2 always points out other babies and says "baby" but he never seems to understand that he is a baby too when we point to him and say "baby".

i would say that very soon they do, especially if they are around/see other babies, and i know they do by the time they can talk, many one and half year olds or two year olds will tell you they are a baby, especially when your correcting their behavior,, course i believe in reincarnation, so at first i imagine they are wondering, where the heck am i and what is this!

We all made a "deal" with God... The deal was that if we chose to come back to the physical realm, we would have to "forget" everything. So, the answer is two fold. Deep down in our soul to some degree, yes we remember....but then during the process of birth or during some other levels, we chose to forget. Sounds strange, but it's true.
