Well, it's either volunteer work, or this one time, as a kid, when I chose to remain friend to, and defend a guy that was being bullied by pretty much the whole class, and as a consequence they also started bullying me.
We are still friends nowadays.

My mother got diagnosed with breast cancer a couple Thanksgivings ago, and had a double masectomy on Dec 2, followed by 6 months of Chemo and Radiation, well during that bad time, her mother (my grandmother) passed away on Mother's Day (my mother was on disability, and my father just had a total knee replacement 5 days before), so money was tight. I secretly went up and payed the funeral bill for my Grandma. Made me feel good, and eased my parents mind in such a horrible time in their lives. (My mother is now cancer free, btw!)

A few days before christmas about 4 years ago i saw a man outside my window eating out of my trash cans (in the snow). I was only 17 and didnt have very much money but i went out there and gave him $20 and told him to buy himself some good food. He thanked me then cried and hugged me.

I try to do something nice for someone every day. Yesterday while I was at work, we had two teenage girls vomiting in our restrooms (I work in a dinner theater - and no, it wasn't because of our food. They hadn't been served yet). I asked their chaperon if they would like some ginger ale and crackers from our bar to help settle their stomachs, and went and got some for them. I took time out of my busy day to help two of our guests have a better experience on their trip.

An old man who hauled junk for a living blew up his motor in his truck, and I not only gave him an engine, but I changed it for him at absolutely no charge. I did this at a point in time that I only had about $30.00 to my name. After I did this good deed, I had a whole string of good fortune come to me.

a month ago, my friend hit the wall at our school cause she got really mad and I took the blame for the hole she made cause I knew that if she got suspended she couldn't play basketball anymore and since I wasn't in any sports then, I just thought I would take the blame and since then everyone thinks I'm so nice cause I did that for her and everybody knows she was the one who made the hole except the principal.
