Since cricket is a game of uncertainties as has been proved on many occasions in the past, nothing can be predicted for sure about the outcome of a tournament in advance.
As far as the World Cup 2007 is concerned, prediction become all the more difficult due to following reasons:
1) The World Cup will be played after couple of months
and the composition of the teams is not known yet.
2) What will be the form of the players and the teams at
the time of world cup is not known at this stage.
The safest prediction one can make at this stage is that all the top 8 teams stand a chance to win the tournament. The outcome will be fully depending upon which team performs to its full potential consistently during the world cup.

The Cricket World Cup is a wild and unpredictable thing, except for the last 2 world cups. Any team can win with any condition. Look at India '83. They were one of the "worst" teams, yet they won the cup. My bet is that South Africa wins.

Hai!The up coming ICC worldcup will be on the hands of any international team in top ten ranking in ICC.We can guess which team will win the worldcup.If you see the worldcup history,the most guessed team can't won the worldcup.For example take past 2003 worldcup.No other guss that the kenyans will reach semifinal.Also the india also not gussed to reach final.Its only depends on the performance shown by the team at the time of worldcup can win!!!

teams like south africa ,australia and west indies are standing with a bit better chance of winning.definately the home ground advantage to WI is going to be very crucial for them.Both australia and south africa are far mor mentally stronger sides than rest of the teams so i guess it will be very interesting to see if other teams like india,sri lanka or pakistan comes up with something extraordinary to restrict the likes of AUS or SA.
