You'll find out about auditions in 'Stage'.
I think it comes out weekly.
It's a newspaper/magazine for the performing arts.
You should be able to order it at your local newsagent.
In the meantime, get any experience you can on stage - local Amateur Theatre and Operatic societies, or work behind the scenes at a local theatre, to build up 'contacts'.
You need perseverance, and don't take rejections to heart. There are always more people auditioning than there are parts available.
Find a style you are comfortable with, and always research any part you audition for.
Watch as many plays and films as possible, and be critical of what you see, whether positive or negative.
If you like something, try and use it (but not copy), and if you don't like it, make sure you don't adopt that habit.
Try for everything that's available, as doing auditions is nerve wracking, but the more you do, the better you will be.
Find out about the company you audition for - who is the director, what has he/she done before, what sort of thing are they looking for.
I wish you luck, and hope you get the chance to play a part in a film soon.

i admire her. yet i do now not think of pretty paid actors, activities human beings and so forth ought to be known interior the honours record. in spite of each thing what reliable are they doing as a fashion to benefit an honour?? the entire ingredient has been debased via politicians who reward their supporters and wealthy organisation men. check out the Olympics. activities females and men human beings doing what they love and making a fortune in promoting, that ought to be adequate. I even tend to help human beings in actual jobs, like fireplace fighters, Paramedics, Police. The young ones of as we talk are brainwashed into believing Footballers, Sportsmen, actors are heroes ??? whilst they see them everywhere in the media getting awards interior the Honours record. A "hero" is a individual who dives right into a freezing river to rescue somebody. now not an actor interpreting out some strains and identifying on up some million in pay for thus doing.
