ok you might need a separate piece of paper but try to figure these triangle excercise/puzzles out. You have a equal sided triangle like this one here [only bigger of course] ▲
make the following on a seperate triangle each...
1. Three congruent trapezoids

2. Eight congruent triangles

3. Four congruent right triangles and one rectangle
---
4. Three congruent equilateral triangles and three congruent rhombuses

5. Nine Congruent triangles

You didn't say write them out in English, you said describe. This picture describes the solution.

They're all easy to show with diagrams but it'd take awhile to describe them. I can tell you #2 and #3 utilize the midpoints of the sides, while the other three involve trisecting the sides.Anyone who wants to take the trouble to write out the answers in English deserves the 10 points.
