if there is nothing blocking his face, it was most likely not a canceled stamp. believe it or not, cancelation is where the value lies in most stamps. especially if it was canceled in an area that no longer handles US Mail. if it's uncanceled, there is a good chance it's from a mass produced set designed to get children to collect stamps.

it depends on the collecter some will say that it is 5 cent and some will ask you your price i would say it is maybe $50 - $500 but i have not seen one be for. i think you should look up coin collecter info and see if you can find info on 5 cent with George Washington on it.

It would be worth significantly more because it hasn't been mailed. Check ebay completed auction listings to see what similar items sell for, but really you'll want to have it appraised.
