We bloody don't!
I didn't. I guess I don't speak for my fellow countrymen but there's a whole lot of the world out there and earning a few bucks serving some moronic Londoners gets you the necessary to see the more interesting places.
Ask your self this question: How many of your mates have travelled the world? I'm an Okker and virtually all my school mates have. (I'm even teaching here!)
What does that say about Britain, mate?

Cos all the bar jobs in Oz and NZ are full of Londoners?

why do Brits come to oz and never leave???????????

and they go there for many different jobs not just Bar ( Oz owns a lot of your businesses including a huge stake in your media and water supply) and mainly because 70% of aussies are of direct or second decendent British (mostly English) so they do like to catch up with family.

It's like a slamon returning to it's place of birth. Never been there before, but it just has to go. Also gives them a chance to see civilisation.
