how do i make the history of sites i've been to,dissapear?

Go to 'Tools' menu on Internet Explorer, then select 'Internet Options' and then under the 'General' tab at the bottom there should be a 'Clear History' button which you can click to delete history.
Also, if you click on the 'History' tab, you will get a list of all the sites you have been to per day - then you can just delete them that way too.
Finally, i would recommend getting rid of your 'Temporary Internet Files' & 'Cookies' (same method as finding the 'Clear History' button)

For IE= click on Tools, go down to internet options, the general tab should open up, near the bottom click 'clear history'.

For Firefox, click on tools and clear personal data
