i guess there the same language why not why would it be different to play it there the same unless U.K's system is the same

Yes they are. They use the PAL video format. We bought an X-Box 360 out in Spain (yes I know its not a Play Station but it works the same) as we live there now and our old X-Box gave up the ghost.
The only annoying thing that happens is that the game will default to the language that the console has been configured too. However you just need to go into settings and set the language to English for the game and the next time it remembers it.

yeah they will be compatible as others have said they are both PAL and they are both the same region.
when you buy a new console the instructions are generally in all the European languages as they can be sold over the continent.

As long as the games are PAL then there shouldn't be a problem
