what I don't understand is your failure to recognise that Blair never answers the questions put to him, he will answer e.g. Mr. Prime Minister what do you intend to do about the appalling situation regarding funding for NHS?
..Answer I do know that when the opposition were in power they never spent as much as we do now on helping the poor.. or something equally irrelevant!

Churchill was a man of his time,he succeeded in getting the country together in conflict for a number of years Churchill remained prime minister, the prime minister role today is very much different from 60 years ago tony Blaire is the leader of the labour party and to be the leader for the amount of time that he has is good, when tony Blaire leaves the country will then select a new government if the leader is labour or not time will tell

Are you kidding?

Churchill was a REAL LEADER! Seriously when he and Aneurin Bevan were around (albeit on opposing sides) this country had truly "never had it so good"!!

Sadly men like Churchill and Bevan are a lost breed. That Spineless ar.se-licker of the rich, Blair, is a seriously unfunny joke as is his shower of tosspots (such as Two fricking Jags) who soak up our taxes in the House of Commons. They literally couldn't "lead" a pissup in a brewery let alone a country.

When can we have a REAL leader to bring a bit of self respect and a decent standard of life to the hard working taxpayer who lives here?!

Churchill had enormous experience in "Victorian" foreign policy and imperialism and was himself a soldier going back to the times of Lawrence who was his friend.
Churchill had wisdom that grew with age and was extremely close to Eisenhower during WW2 on the tactics employed on the Normandy landings - he was hands on.
Churchill had a great intellect and humour, but it was a different time. (He was half American)
Blair cannot be compared with Churchill, it is in fact an insult to Churchill.

There are a lot of anti-Blair opinions just because of Iraq.
Otherwise he is on par with Churchill for those that have read history and not just newspaper reports.

It's a pity more people don't read the question and answer it. When your in your prime by implication it means your fairly young with all your faculties unimpaired!. Churchill would have wiped the floor with him by both wit and intellect.

i think tony Blair is suffering the same as Churchill did when he tried to warn the world of Hitler, but liberals like chamberlain managed to denounce him,and in the end he was right, but this time England has the enemy on their shores already, history always repeats itself, but if we refuse to learn the lessons, what then, liberals in England and the U.S. will gut the armies, and we will be defense less, there will be no help from across the pond this time,we the people of two great nations will be on are own this time, the world will fear the muslims to try and help!
