Betta's can go up to a week without food and be fine but you should not do it on a regular basis. you should actually skip a day a week to to keep from over feeding and causing Swim Bladder. Some people may not agree with me but It has always worked for me and my fish are still quite plump.

It will be fine wednesday through sunday. If it would make you feel better, you could get it a vacation feeder, but only if you have an aquarium larger than 5 gallons with a strong filter. In unfiltered aquariums and bowls and aquariums smaller than 5 gallons, the vacation feeders will ruin the water quality and cause dangerous spikes in ammonia, which can kill your fish a lot quicker than not feeding it. Also, please don't feed it extra before you leave as some of these other people are suggesting. The extra food likely won't get eaten and will dissolve in the water, making the water quality worse for your betta while you are gone.

If you are feeding your Betta tubiform brine shrimp or some other food which may last several days then feed before you go. It is not a good idea to let the fish go to many days without feeding it. There are some time release feeders that you can get but I do not know if they have one for Bettas. Any time I have to go away I always take my Betta with me.

I had to go out of town for a week and a half and I fed my betta the morning I left and left him a little more flakes and dry worms. He was fine when I got back. They can usually last a little over 2 weeks without food.

When i went to a pet store they sell this type of circle thing that you drop into the water and it contains food and makes the water clean. I asked them what it does, they said you use it when your unable to feed your betta , or if you go on vacation. It will feed your betta and let the water be clean.

wharever you do dont throw in extra food that will kill it they will overeat and die.you can go to the pet store and they have these delayed feeder things you put in the tank and it will feed it slowly.they arent that much money just ask the person at the store and they will show you which one for a betta.

I once had to go for 4 days without feeding mine and they were fine. I just fed them a little extra right before I left.

That's fine. They CAN go for weeks without eating (just don't try it though).
