I have been trying to get pregnant for a year. 6 months ago I was pregnant, but lost the baby when I was 11 weeks pregnant. I have been trying again for the past 2 cycles. I am really hoping to get pregnant this cycle, but don't know if I will or if I will be able to carry a full term pregnancy since I had a miscarriage. I need to order the dress before I would find out if I am pregnant this cycle. The bride knows all of these details and told me to figure out the dress part.

Not sure if this was confusing, but look like Genesis took it wrong. I am going to be a bridesmaid in a wedding. I am all ready married and have been for 3 years so I am pretty sure I am not in a hurry to have a baby.

One of my bridesmaids had the same problem, but unfortunatly she miscarried. But she called around and found the bridal shop that would let her order her dress the latest and just ordered a few sizes bigger. But talk to the ladies at the dress shop, they can give you the best advice.

I agree with phoenix. Order a dress that is a bit too big but can be altered down. I normally wouldn't suggest this route, because I have put my life on hold for too long while TTC (3 years!) and I don't see the point in living month to month anymore. However, since you really don't have a choice, I'd order it big and think positively!

You might also talk to the people you are ordering the dress from. Explain that you are ttc, and if you order the dress in a normal size could they later replace it or should you order it big? I'm sure they deal with this kind of thing fairly often. Good luck!

One previous miscarriage doesn't mean you will have another, especially since you waited a while. It's tough call.......I guess I would say better safe than sorry on the dress! If you aren't pregnant or not far along, I am sure some alterations could be done to just fix it a little, but if you are pregnant this time around and are 7 months along then...lol, good luck fitting into a normal dress! Good Luck!

I would buy a dress about 3 sizes too big so that it can be altered down in the event you are not pregnant, but is probably big enough if you do get pregnant.

Better yet, just wait a few months to order your dress.

I would order your dress in your regular size and also order extra fabric so that it's from the same lot incase you need to have your dress altered later. If you don't get fabric from the same lot the colors may not match perfectly. It will cost you a little more but better safe then sorry.

I would see if you could wait a lil while to order your dress. If not, then get it a couple sizes too big. If you end up not being pregnant then it can be altered down.

i think you should get married first than get pregnant. what if it takes longer in getting preg and you order your dress a lger size you sure going to look funny. don't rush the pregnancy the lord will bless you with a child in his timing.
