I want to find something that will keep my registry nice and clean, but I don't want to do it manually. Screwed up stuff before. Anybody know any cheap software that can keep my PC running smooth?

Ccleaner has a nice registry cleaner. To stay safe it prompts you to make a backup each time you do a cleaning (highly recommended). It also cleans cookies and various temp files. You can download it for free from http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/

Another good utility is Clean Cache which can be found at http://buttuglysoftware.com/

I run Registry Mechanic by PC Tools. It basicly does every thing including deleting files that you have deleted that are still in the registry. I first read about it in PC Magizine which gave it 5 thumbs up and said it is the best reg program out there. I loaded the trial version and it kicked butt. While the trial version is limited to what is does I still liked it so much after I tried it, I paid for the regular version. It keeps my PC running very nicely!!!! I have tried some others such as Complete Cleanup and they dont do half of what Registry Mechanic does. Give the trial version a try and ENJOY!!!
