Has it happened to you.

I got water in the usb port part and where you stick the headphones in!

Help!

1....try a haordryer to dry out it properly
2....try a "very small" amount of WD40 as it is a type of demoisturiser

Hi!

Whatever you do DO NOT switch it on!!!

Put it somewhere to dry out - near a heat source - and if possible overnight.

THEN you can turn it on.

If it works - great!

If not - it's bust!

This has worked for me in the past with mobile phones, so hopefully it may work for you.

Don't wear it in the bath or the shower! You can put it in a sealed container with a silica gel pack to see if that helps it dry out.

Is the i-Pod still working?
Have you tried to turn it on?

I'd let it dry out for a day, and see if it works

If not, take it to where you bought it from and see where you can get it repaired (I doubt the warrenty covers getting it wet)

Try drying it with a hair dryer if that don't work take it into an Apple store, perhaps they would know the answer!
