I know that SBC became ATT but I would contact them to see if it can be changed. The only problem is that the name may already be used with the other server.

It is not possible to change the domain name because as you are using DSL service and SBC's DSL uses PPPoE to connect, among other things. The primary email account is used for account authentication, sub-account management, Yahoo premium services, & depending on your choice, as your billing method (online payments). Apparently this is not possible as it has to be changed everywhere on the complete network.
