I would say:
1-Take a break and do something you have always wanted to do.
2-Find a hobby-enroll in a class-
3- read an inspirational book (blue hwys-or google more)
4- try something new (that you wouldn't normally do-i.e. talking to people)
5-Be with any family or friends that you do have-spend time with them...whether it is on the phone or e-mail-but pref in PERSON
6- get a dog (or cat)
7- buy yourself something you have always wanted ( a cd/new clothes etc)
8-take pictures of your life
9-paint or write
10-when your looking at the computer screen pretend your somewhere else-make the most you can out of it- and brainstorm what new and innovative thing you will do wtih your life.
11- GOOD LUCK :)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but since you are in your 50 floor building, sitting at a computer, needing to be there to take a pay check home, SHOULDN'T YOU BE DOING YOUR JOB!

I really resent people who expect the rest of the office staff to carry them while they f*** off all day!

I have been in jobs that didn't have much work required doing in any given day. Instead of sitting there surfing the net (which I NEVER did) I would search out things I could do--like reorganizing the file drawers into a proper alpha-numeric system. Inventorying the supplies cupboard and bringing any shortages to the supervisor's attention. Learning my job completely from A to Z, which meant to go down into the factory to the source if necessary, and to watch the whole process through packing and shipping. Familiarizing myself with the client lists, and the people from other companies that were my regular contacts. Etc, etc, etc...I was NEVER bored. And I was always looked on as an exceptional employee, and an asset to the company.

My attitude was that only boring people are ever bored. I had too many things that I wanted to learn to ever be bored.

Break something, destroy something (not yourself…) If you destroy an object it will make you feel more Alive (please don’t harm anything living though).

Open up the window and yell something completely pointless… like “I like candy! I am god! Echo choc ho… I didn’t shower today and I like it. I love Fat people. I pooped and it felt great.” If you yelled anything like that, out of the window, on the top of your lungs, you will feel better.

My favorite is to create new noises, or act out what I think prehistoric animals sounded like.

Pick up a hobby, pick your nose, pick up your living quarters, and pick out wedgies (as long as their your own)

Think back to what made you happy as kid,
Have a hot dog eating contest with some friends
Color a coloring sheet
Have a water balloon fight

Exercise in any way, it is a hard thing to get in the habit of but it is mentally stimulating.

Take a walk, get a cup of coffee or tea or juice at a hip coffee shop.

Buy something nice for yourself, within range.

Most importantly Laugh, Laugh until your stomach hurts, until you pee a little. Laugh like your in middle school and you health teacher said penis.

You’re the only thing in your life that can change your life. Find simple things that make you happier then do them. I strongly encourage you to make friends or talk to people.

Take care

Smoking drugs isn't the answer, thats a stupid answer, then you'll be bored AND stoned and more than likely get more depressed about your situation.Give yourself a shake. Get yourself a life and go out and meet people. The more you withdraw into yourself the more unsociable you will become. Volunteer for a charity or take up a hobby then you'll meet people. If you dont want to change or make sacrafices in order to have a happier life then you have only yourself to blame and cant complain about it because you're not doing anything to help yourself.

There is a book called" CHANGE YOUR LIFE IN 7 DAYS" i read it and it was amazing. I was a negative person, always looking on the black side of life, I am so positive these days, I have more confidence, more motivation to get off mybackside to do things, have lost weight, go to the gym twice a week. and best of all I'M HAPPY, for the first time in many a year. this book was published in the UK, it was a best seller and I do know it went world wide. changes don't happen overnight but when they do,
boy, what a difference your life is. good luck to you.

mr. bj

"should jump out of my 50floor building"{

DO IT! DO IT! DO IT!

everyone's chanting for you...God and join the perade and perform the spectacle!!!

IF NOT, this is what you should do:

trash your computer with a baseball batt...then go to every room and batter random people for FUN!!!--then go and take a **** on your boss's DESK!!!! while you jump up and down blurting nothing but "how you have doing nothing but to surf on the internet."

that'll teach em..

Then, when your done doing all that....prepare a molotov cocktail and put your office on fire....then leave the building and say you were forced at gunpoint by crazy person holding a relative hostage...go get another job, say, at pizza hut in another state......and leave.

Try smoking some hash. That will give you a completely different perspective on life if you think about it. It will also make you more relax then you've been in a while. That should work. I'm not even joking. At least it works for me. I can also say with confidence that it works for thousands in the country. Try it bro.
Peace

When I was a younger man, I would engage in high risk activities. Unfortunately, I kept living and it got to be just as monotonous as the boredom I tried to escape.

Try writing funny answers on Yahoo Answers. It is relatively safe.

Go outside, go to the bookstore and something interesting to read. Join a Health Club. Get a pet. Turn off your computer.
