Not really, since it is not a necessity that if one person wins one person automatically loses.

There is no real zero sum except the game you don't play. In any game you play, while the play may add up to zero, you will have played the game which is not zero. It's the catalog problem.

Absolutely not !!
If you are living it that way---you are dead wrong
we pass this way and have an opportunity to make a difference
no matter how small--and to leave the world just a touch better than we found it in some small way
We are all living somewhat better lives today because of the efforts and sacrifices of the generations that went before us and the ticket here for each of us is to stay mindful to make the efforts needed to do the same for the ones that are yet to come !!

Good question. But first, is life a game? To be a game it has to have rules. I haven't been able to find the rule book. Do you have it?

Of course if it has rules we can change them if we want. Maybe we can write our own rule book. Or what if you write a rule book and someone in Edinburgh, Scotland, writes another rule book? Is there a committee that judge the best rule book? And are there rules for writing rule books? Where is the rule book for writing rule books? Do you have it? I haven't been able to find it.

And if there is a rule book for writing rule books, then there must be a rule book for writing rule books for writing rule books, ad infinitum. Wouldn't you agree?

Do we have enough time in the universe for this game? I mean with all these books of rules that have to be written.

If we weren't manufactured by an actual God, it's all meaningless. Any meaning we try to invent for ourselves is self-delusion. Matter and energy are neither alive nor self-aware. If we were not manufactured by an actual God, to pretend that matter and energy can be alive or self-aware is a mystical and irrational disconnect.
