Russia fought against an alliance consisting of Britain, France, the Ottoman Empire (which included present-day Turkey) and Piedmont-Sardinia (now part of Italy).

And yes, this was the war that inspired Tennyson's poem "The Charge of the Light Brigade," as well as raising the status of nursing from a haphazard caring of the sick to an honorable profession.

Spoken like a true draft dodger of times past.. Of course, now its an all VOLUNTEER Military. I''m sure you would have been running to Canada or some other country if the draft was still in place. I'm sure you are enjoying the freedom of being an American, and I'm equally sure you are a self-centered individual. Had there not been men and women willing to stand up for this country, you would probably be living under Communist rule by now. Of course if Obama gets his way that is EXACTLY what will happen to America. So go back to your easy chair and play another GTA and thank The military that you have the freedom to play your games.
