Im 7 weeks now and my doctor told me its ok to have up to 16oz of caffine per day, but its preffered not to consume any if possible. It is also preffered that u take it early in the day since caffine will keep u and or ur baby up at night. u know how some people get all hyper with caffine in there system.

In all the books that I have read and speaking with my doctor, I have found you can have up to 300 mg of caffeine without hurting yourself or the baby (1 can of Coca Cola has approximately 64mg of caffeine). As long as you don't go all out, I think it is perfectly alright to enjoy your pepsi :)

I by no potential were given them and it replaced into tremendous to experience an similar as formerly i replaced into pregnant. i'm 35 weeks now and that i won't be able to even bear in mind not being pregnant.

this is what i found out....You can still enjoy your favorite caffeinated drinks as long as you don't overdo it. After years of controversy over the issue, most researchers now believe that, although caffeine does cross the placenta, moderate amounts (less than 300 milligrams a day) won't harm your baby.....for more go to this website http://www.babycenter.com/refcap/pregnancy/pregnancynutrition/3955.html

a little bit of caffeine wont hurt the baby. one small glass of soda or coffee is fine according to my OB. just don't go over board and watch for products with hidden caffeine such as chocolate! be careful with your kidneys as well, soda tea and coffee are notorious for causing kidney and bladder irritation! good luck and have a wonderful pregnancy!

I just had a pregnancy class to day. Just to get the paper work and stuff going. The nurse said that you shouldn't drink more than 2-8oz. glasses of caffinated drink. But if it's something like Moutain Dew, then just one 8oz glass

Yup, it's ok in a limited amount, I still have one cup of coffee in the morning. You could also try caffine free pepsi, I dont think it tastes much differant.

Of course it is...you can have caffeine every day as long as its in moderation. Check out some nutrition sites as to what is too much.

absolutely! You can have caffeine in limited amounts while pregnant...I think they say to limit it to somewhere around the equivalent of three cups of coffee...
So, enjoy your pepsi!

Caffiene raises your risk of miscarriage and isn't good for the baby. To avoid subjecting your unborn baby to stimulants, please don't do it! It shouldn't be hard to give up something for 9 months when you think of how important this is.
You can have caffiene-free Pepsi if you really want it, but I wouldn't have it too often because of all the chemicals and sugar aren't very healthy for you or baby.
good luck!
