I went through a faze of 'not listening to my parents' at about 13 too, probably until about age 17. Most adolecents do. Sounds like you are still in that stage. As you get older and more mature you (hopefully) will appreciate the advice and wisdom they share with you. I'm 25 now and there's still no escaping my parent's two cents, lol, but I wouldn't want it any other way when it comes down to it.

I stopped at age 13, and started listening again at about 17. Parents have much more knowledge about life than you do. And although you may not agree sometimes, they are only trying to do whats best for you.
Hopefully in the future you will see the wisdom your parents have.

I am mid-age. I have never stopped listening to my parents. There is a lot to be said for age, experience and wisdom. Sometimes, I even seek the advice of my parents. I don't always act on it, but I definitely think on it.

If my grandparents were here, I would seek out their wisdom , also.

I never did from what I can remember.
I used to get beat up for not listening to them and now I guess they finally realized that beating me up won't make me listen to them so now I do whatever I want at the age of 14.
