Does anyone know any place in England that offers a one year A-level course.
Basically, does anyone know any school that will allow someone to come from another country and just go straight to A2 instead of doing AS first?

I don't think any UK college will let you skip AS- it's a requirement of A2 that you have the marks from your AS. However, some colleges may allow you to take both courses in the same year, providing the timetabling would work. That way, you would attend lessons for both, and take 6 examinations over the course of the year...a lot of work.

you can't skip AS as it is part of the A Level AS + A2 = A Level. Several colleges will allow you to take an A level in one year - you just do all the assignments in one year.

There are also other level 3 courses (equivelant to A Level) that you can do in a year eg Level 3 nationals.

why don't you call a few in the area that you're going to be living and find out for sure?

I'm not entirely sure to be honest...I'd call a few and find out
