Knowing that your would see you love ones age and pass away? You would see Frineds and pets pass? You might not be able to form strong connection with anyone, but its Immortality?

I would because, think of all you could see and do. All you could expericne. You could travel all over the world, try so many new foods. Interact with so many people. Acquire great wealth. You could have a house in every country. You could own your own personal island. Think of the movies you could see, the books you could read.

So would you take it?

Yes.
I would take immortality.

Why?
Most importantly knowledge. A great deal about life could be learned from living such a long time. Plus, it would be really cool to do stuff that you couldn't do with a mortal life.....base jumping without a parachute, driving 180 mph while getting road head, things like that....

Even with a mortal life, you see loved one pass away all the time, so why not (take immortality)? The upsides far outweigh the downsides.

hehe. Plus, you could go to history classes in the future and argue "I was THERE!" lol.

All that you stated in no way is prohibitive to a mere mortal, one must simply have the wisdom and innitiative to accomplish all their goals.
Therefore these attributes rather than immortality are what I desire more.
Besides, I've been alive long enough to know I'm just not mature enough to handle immortality.

No, for all the reasons you have already mentioned, I couldn't deal with watching all those special people die. It would be very lonely to live forever without anyone else who was also living forever. Besides part of what makes life living is knowing it's going to end sometime, that is part of the point.

No, I do want to die old but i don't want to live forever. If you think about it..seeing all you can and doing everything you wanted, You'd be missing a lot of your after life too. And you'd never really no what happens after you die. For all we no after you die heaven could be like a whole nother world.

I'm not exactly sure...

No. It'd take all the adventure out of life. There'd be too much time to do everything. I like to rush about doing stuff.

I would take immortality.
My reasons: I'd never die. I don't care if I had to see my loved ones die.
People come and go all the time. I wouldn't care.

I would take it because even though you would see your spouse and kids pass away, you would get to see you grandkids and geat grandkids grow up so you would always have family.

On this planet? Hell NO!!!!!!!...when my time is up, I'll be thankful! I think humans are the worst species ever created, and it seems the more technologically "advanced" we are the more we destroy our own humanity!
