It never ceases to amaze me how many people don't even read the question properly, or are taken in by people out to get a rise from them. there should be a weekly or monthly dumb answer award.

Well so far MADC has come up with the dumbest answer to this question, which realy proves that some people either don't read the question properly, their briains work on a tangent or they are just plain Dumb. If you are American I will give you the benift of the doubt and put you down as just being plain old Dumb.

Not amazed, just a bit sad. Still, some of the answers are worthy of a chuckle at their complete inappositeness!

Yes, there are some silly answers.
Some of the questions are also a bit stupid. A quick Google would answer about 50% of the questions.
However, there is no such thing as a silly question, as long as the "asker" is serious about wanting an answer.
I teach photography and students occasionally say "this is a silly question, but how do I............?"
The answer may be obvious to others, but in this case the student needs an answer, so it is not a "silly question".
There does seem to be quite a few deliberate silly questions on this site though.

I've noticed that people have chips on their shoulders and so they let that control how they answer. Usually ending up with them completely misunderstanding your question. Like some women who answer questions about gender. If a guy askes something like, "Do some girls have it easier if they're beautiful", some bitter women will somehow turn the question into how men are pigs and women get paid less in the work world. And then call YOU a pig just for asking a question about beauty. I've had that happen.

I'm sure some of these people use emails because typing is easier than writing for those species without the opposable thumb.

There are a lot of dumb answers from dumb persons, equally to dumb questions asked by other dumps.

I could also go on about the people who ASK questions, especially the ones who type a page long list of complaints and forget to ask one!
Oh, I almost forgot to answer YOUR question (lol!). I am not amazed.....saddened, but not amazed. Yahoo answers is used by people from the REAL world...........

exactly! some of them just only for scores, i do dumb answer as well to those dumb questions too. that's why don't rely all the answers here cause not all of them are for good.
