Personally i am not really a true Bond fan... have always found the Bond films a bit boring. But having watched the new Casino Royale i think Daniel Craig brings 007 to life.

Asked yesterday I would have said a resounding Pierce Brosnan but after seeing Casino Royale tonight then i have to say a great big massive Daniel Craig.....he is fantastic (sorry Pierce) and this is what Bond should always have been.....its Bond but Bond with an edge and Craig does it perfectly. Bring on the next installment

I was always a big Sean Connery as Bond fan but Daniel Craig is far better. Although if a Younger Sean Connery had been given the script and direction which Daniel Craig Had i think Connery may have just been better.

I have always been a big fan of Connery and never thought anyone would even come close but after seeing Casino Royale

Sean Connery is James Bond. I haven't seen Daniel Craig yet, but he is hot in the commercials.

However, I agree Daniel Craig did a great job as 007---we need to see him a few more before we give him the title of "best" Bond.

Sean Connery, hands down. No questions asked. No Bond could ever match the way he acts.
Daniel Craig is alright btw, but he doesn't smile often, and I heard that he doesn't know how to drive stick, which is in all the Bond Aston Martin's.

Difficult to decide between 2 for me.
Either Sean Connery or Roger Moore.
After that, the Bond thing for me faded away. It was great to see the gadgets and plots set in the cold war period of the 60's 70's and very early 80's.
It's too flashy now, and the humour that Connery and Moore had is just not there anymore.
