Ok, so...I love funny movies. Zoolander, Anchorman, Harold and Kumar, Austin Powers. Im looking for a movie that is not enormously popular--something I probably haven't seen. Today I watched Evil Alien Conquerors. That was hilarious and noone has really seen it. Does anyone have a recommendation for a hilarious movie that I can watch for the first time?? THANKS! :)

Well.... someone has already mentioned Dogma but given the all-star cast you probably already saw that. You could go further back in the Kevin Smith archives and try Chasing Amy.

or...

Army of Darkness

Mystery Men (amazingly few people saw this)

Undercover Brother

Howard the Duck

Shaolin Soccer

Galaxy Quest

Bowfinger

Top Secret! and Real Genius (early Val Kilmer)

Better off Dead (early John Cusack)

Waking Ned Devine

Hollywood Shuffle

Snatch

Young Frankenstein

History of the World, Part I

The Princess Bride

If you're really brave:

The Hebrew Hammer (it was comedy central movie)

If you can find it, one of the funniest movies I have ever seen(in black and white)(may be colorized by now) was entitled "HELLZAPOPPIN''. It was made in the early 50's or late 40's and is hella funny. Another one is IT'S A MAD, MAD, MAD, MAD WORLD ant stars just about every comedic actor and actress in the business, it was made in the early 60's. For newer stuff, probably the funniest two movies I have ever seen(and they are both over 30 years old) are THE GREAT RACE starring Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon and Natalie Wood. Next there is THE funniest movie of all time BLAZING SADDLES starring Cleavon Little and Gene Wilder with a cameo of Mel Brooks, Harvey Korman, Slim Pickens and dozens of other actresses and actors. This movie cannot be beat for sick humor.

Bringing Up Baby. Movie with Cary Grant and Katharine Hepburn from the 30's. totally hilarious, and a perfect romantic classic. I almost fell off the couch while watching it I was laughing so hard.

Okay, you gotta go way back for this one. The Producers. Not the musical with Matthew Broderick, but The Producers with Gene Wilder. This had me on the floor in just the first 5 minutes.

You know what you can do that is kinda fun? I go to Blockbuster's online webpage and browse through the movies. Pick a category and it shows you a list and you can click on it and it gives you a description and most of the time you can see the preview as well.

Do I have a suggestion? Yes! Go out and rent or buy Mallrats! It is my favorite movie and is a very funny and deep movie! You should enjoy it!

How about Divorce Italian Style?
Oh my God I was dying with laughter watching that. It's in Italian, but I think you can probably find it.
Other than that, how about Kind Hearts and Coronets, or maybe Quick Change? Those two are really good too.
