I'm glad you asked the question. Prior to reading all the answers from personal experiences, I would have that you were suffering from confusion. I like to learn something new everyday, so I've met my goal for today. A few weeks ago I learned something I would never have believed if I had not been told by a doctor. If you are taking antidepressants or other types of psychiatric drugs, steroids can make you psychotic. I've asked four different doctors now and they all say it is absolutely true. One more overlooked fact is that if you have any metal in your body, I have some from having an aneurysm and a metal clip was used, an MRI will kill you. It will yank out the metal destroying vital organs or opening carotid arteries. I wear a medic alert bracelet.

Yes!!! It's time to go to the doctors office before you get sent to the emergency room. This happened to me and I only wish that I had gotten my UTI treated before it turned into a Kidney Infection.

It sounds like a Kidney Infection to me. Go now, or you will regret it.
Let me add after reading other responses that Cranberry juice concentrate will ONLY help with the pain. I drink it when my kidneys act up due to other causes. It helps, but I don't expect it to get rid of any infection.

Most definately it's possible. You need to go and see your doctor so he can put you on a stronger antibiotic because if a kidney infection goes untreated or the antibiotic dosen't work in most cases the person ends up in the hospital for days at a time. So please get going to your doctor's office soon.

Are you on antibiotics? please call your doctor,or go to an emergency room. Most likely you have a kidney infection and you need medical attention right now. Trust me I am a nurse and I have also had many UTIs .Dont wait until tommorrow.kidney infections can be bad news.

This will take care of it. Go to a health food store and get CRANBERRY CONCENTRATE.

Mix 8 ounces in each gallon of water and drink 8 ounces of it before every meal and between meals. You will peep like a race horse and it will take care of the infection.

Do it promptly. Kidney stones are MUCH MORE PAINFUL.

Are you INSANE?!?! GO TO THE DOCTOR!! A UTI will NEVER go away on it's own!! It can only get worse so yes, If it hasn't spread to your kidneys I would be extremely shocked.

You probably now have a kidney infection which can be really bad since that can lead to kidney damage, then failure and eventually death. GO TO A DR. ASAP!!!!!! Your life could depend on it.

You need to get that cleared up and the only way is an antiobiotic. Go see a doctor as soon as you can.
