I use these bath products from a company called Michael Giordano (must be Italian)

They have these bath sugars, which make my whole house smell heavenly..
Plus their bubble baths have a great scent, especially for the price..

I got a gift set from this company once, it had the bath sugars, bath gel, a lotion, and a candle..pour me glass of my favorite melot.. and a piece of dark chocolate..

To relax, I fill the tub with hot water, I pour the sugars in as it fills, light the candle shut off all the lights and play some of favorite tunes off my ipod..no commercials it just blows the mood to have a standard radio on..

Put a moist but not hot towel over my eyes..hot towels dry out the skin..

I cleanse with the bath gel, then when I finally get out, I use the body lotion to layer the fragrance...

sigh,
now you got me in the mood ..bye

Bubbles- and be sure they smell good- nothing to wierd- try natural fruit smells etc
Bath fizzies (as the first person said) they make the water nice and soft
Also try candles
To make it even more relaxing turn out the lights (keep candles burnt) and play some nice music
Hot water of corse works and try some of the hard things that you drop in the water and breathe in the smell...it really helps relax you (sorry I dont know what those are called)
Enjoy~

If you really enjoy hot baths in general you will totally love it after a hard and stressful day.

To make it better than just sitting in a warm tub of water, I suggest adding bath salts and bubbles and if you aren't opposed to it, aromatherapy oil. Lavender and jasmine are two of the most popular because of their relaxing and soothing properties. Most bath salts are commonly sea salts. Or epsom salt works pretty good. The properties of the salt are able to flush away the fatigue and tired feeling you have in your muscles, hence why a lot of athletes will soak injured feet, legs, whatever in it.

The bath salt I use is Burts Bees Therupeutic Bath Crystals.

Good luck and happy relaxing!

A partner, low light and candles, glass of wine and bath oil or epsom salt from your local drug store. Works very very well in an outdoor hot tub.
