Hello, again. i am doing this thing and I need to find the adjectives in these sentences:

1) A horse named Pokey was the only one to survive the barn fire.

2) We took a kettle on the camping trip with us so we could boil water.

The little "tips" say that the first sentence has 2 adj and the second one has 1. I could really use your help. Please, no stupid answers. Thank You!!

You need to learn how to do this yourself instead of having someone supply you with the answers. If you can't, you won't make it into college.

Look up what an adjective is, and then identify the ones in the sentences.

This is not a stupid answer. Telling you to learn how to figure out the answer, instead of giving you the answer, is the wisest thing that could be said here. That way you will know how to find the answer the next time, and every time after that. Giving you the answers would let you turn in your homework, but not be able to find the answer next time, at least without Yahoo! Answers.

Will Yahoo! Answers be there for your test? Your college application? Your first job interview?

1. only, barn
2. camping

An adjective is any word that describes a noun. So first identify the noun and then identify the words that describe it.
