Well X-BOX 360 Is cheaper becasue it's older
PS3 Is newer "AND FAR MORE BETTER" But its more expensive PS3 has a by far more better graphic card than 360 so you will see better graphic...

How ever PS3 still has to many bugs right now because as I said it's new

OK!!! I have a PS3 and a Xbox - 360

They both are good but the PS3 has better graphics...

As others have said the PS3 is hard to find.. I waited in line for 8 hours for mine... and it cost me 625... but it was well worth it...

but most likely they will have glicthes in them right now which is ok because u get a good warrenty on it and they will replace it for the one with fewer or lesser glitches.. xbox 360 seems to me to be okay in graphics when played side by side with the PS3 and yes there are fewer games with the PS3 than x-box but remember

but dont worry about new ps3 games you will see a lot coming out until they release there new system which is a said to be in 2012 the PS4... which i cant wait to see the graphics on that..

but anyways PS3 is better because of there graphic card and yes PS3 is HD ready, so is X-Box 360 but you get more out of the PS3 than the X-Box 360 in graphaic sense..

Right now, it is impossible to get a PS3, and it costs significantly more than an xbox 360 ($200 US). Also, there are many more games out for the 360 right now. I would buy a 360 and some games, wait for the PS3 price to go down and availability to go up, and then buy it.

Most of the people answering PS3, probably do not even have one.

The Xbox 360 is a much better value. In the PS3, you are paying for a blu-ray disc player as well. Blu-ray is competing against HD-dvd and may not even be the dominant format.

I would choose the 360. I have one and it is amazing. The PS3 is just too expensive and you will not be able to find one.

I don't care what PS3 has, I'm sticking with XBox 360., it's also about $200 less as an upgraded package, and will be ready when you walk into the store. good luck getting PS3 for under $600 right out of the store in the next year...

I'm sick of people saying the ps3 is better without providing any substantiation. The fact of the matter is that which is better is totally up to the individual. I suggest you do more research about each system and come to a conclusion of which is better for you. In my case, the 360 was best for me. Why you ask? Because I love to play my games online, and xbox LIVE is the most advanced and proven network for online console gaming.

xbox 360 for a couple reasons

1. price (200 dollars cheaper)
2. online service (live is the best hands down)
3. halo (halo 3 will only be for 360)
4. trust bill gates over some asian guy
5. the graphics are pretty much equal on both
6. HD DVD or Blu-Ray (Same thing)

i might say the PS3 is greater effective because of the fact the Xbox basically nickel and dimes you for each little element the PS3 has out of the container. i won't be able to truly communicate for Xbox on line because of the fact i do no longer desire to pay one greater $a hundred for what a PS3 can already do.
