My Nextel i870 keeps shutting off for NO REASON!?

My Nextel i870 keeps shutting off for NO REASON! During a phone call, or a text. It will "reboot" many times. This is very annoying. Is there anything I can do without having to purchase another phone? I tried changing some settings, but can't seem to do the right thing. Please help.

After a few times it will read "Transmitters Off"

try going to the place where you purchased the phone... they might have an idea.

it could be something wrong with the battery
