too small would obviously apply mainly for sandals (open shoes)

too small is ugly. i hate to see the toes hanging off the shoe. definetly not cute.

Too small because if you're feet are all crammed up in the shoes then the tops don't look right either and you can look like you're all swollen on top of your feet.

small...because it seems like your trying your hardest to fit in a pair that you cannot fit....then you get sores and that hurts!....besides its healthier to wear a little bigger shoes than a too small of a shoes

too big! Nothing worse than trying too keep shoes that are took big on your feet and still walk "naturally." Plus you'll look like you've got bigger feet than you really do.

Then people are like " WOW YOUR FEET ARE ENORMOUS"
