I would choose California over NYC. I haven't been to NY so I can't speak with experience about it, but I have visited California. There's a lot of options in California. You have mountains, desert, beaches, snow skiing, red woods, big towns, small towns, and I do know the cost of living is high there, but so are the wages. Just my opinion.

Both places are completely different....it depends on what you want to do as well. They both have major pros and cons so you should visit both and then make a decision. I just came back from NY on Sunday and the first time I went I fell inlove and was crazy to move there. This last time I wasnt so impressed. I lived in Cali the summer and I wasnt impressed with the fake people out there. I personally would choose NY out of the two, but there is better....Chicago, Houston, Dallas,etc....Have you considered moving out of the country ;)???

NYC, I'm from boston so I never enjoy directing people to New York but it is a far better choice than Cali. You just graduated from college, you wanna have fun? New York. You just graduated from college, want to surf? Cali.

I think the both are awesome but i like NYC more. If you are in school do a voting with your classmates
