I always feel uncertain about how I scoop my baby's formula. I know it is an unpacked level scoop. But sometimes I see big air pockets in the powder in the scooper. How do you make sure they are getting th eright amount of formula?

I always tap the scoop against the side of the can to make sure the formula settles, three light taps and at the very least you are being consistent from batch to batch.

I had the same problem so instead of scooping the formula out I took a spoon and spooned it into the scoop that way you have no air pockets. Just make sure you don't pack it just spoon it into the scoop you will have a perfect measurement. Hope this helps

I would rescoop if I saw a big air bubble. It happens more when the can gets low. As long as baby is growing and thriving...I wouldn't be too overly concerned with a 1/4 scoop of formula once a day! Good Luck!

when you get a scoop with air pockets, unpack the scoop and start again, you will get a better chance of getting the right amount of powder and less air. If you use the scoop with the air your not getting the right amount

Scoop the formulation then faucet the little scooper cup on the sting of the formulation can to settle the powder into the air wallet. do now not %. it down collectively with your palms, it particularly is erroneous! even nonetheless formulation looks flaky and prefer there is now not adequate interior the interior song, however do now not %. it down collectively with your palms. faucet the the already scooped quantity on the sting of the can and it will cool down via itself. in case you notice that it settled into the air wallet and the best is even, there you flow. If the best looks empty, upload some extra.

Fill the scooper only halfway, tap the bottom lightly, then fill the rest up and level it with the side of the can, or your finger. Won't get any air pockets that way.

Just tap the scoop on the side of the can, it won't pack it down too much.

As long as they are eating it, I wouldn't worry about it.

The main thing is that they aren't swallowing air bubbles, but even that isn't the end of the world. ;-)
