It's been such a long time ago for me and I'm only 30. I said it when I was nearly 15 and yet looking back I didn't love him. I then said it when I was 15/16 to my mext boyfriend and I know I loved him because it hurt like hell when we split. Then I went back out with the first boy for 2 years and I truly loved him this time. Then I suppose I have loved 3 men since those two. But I have loved and lost every time.

I doubt this is what you mean, but I became (so was told) mentally ill, I felt deep love for every person on this earth, I felt it was so very easy for there to be peace all over the world, if everyone was given what I had woken up to. I was crying tears of joy at the power of the love within me, I gave away my entire record collection, and most of my books in the streets,as a sacrifice to bring peace.
It would take too long to tell the whole story, but hope this gives an insight
It happened in 1981.

I've been in some real love, and I do love easily. It's what I've been taught, at least with regards to friendships. I was actually fifteen(I'm 26 now) when I first said it, and I meant it. I still love him to this day, he'll always be in my heart :)

I was around 18-19 when I first said it. From that point on, I don't and refuse to love easily.

I was 19 when I first said it to my boyfriend, he did say it first but I told him I loved him too and I had been wanting to say it for ages but was too scared.
He said it when we were playing about in bed one morning (clean not dirty). I pinched his bum and said "I love your bum" and he said "I love you" then realised he has said what he was thinking rather than telling me he loved my bum which is what he wanted to say.
We laughed and then I told him I love him too. Been married now for 4 months, together for 6 years. So its the real thing for sure.
As his best man said at our wedding
"love isnt about finding someone you can live with, its about finding someone you cant live without."
