It depends. If you are going to connect your XBox to your wireless connection in your home by youself, then I would go for the best wireless router the XBox can use and you can afford. But then again, the inexpensive stuff will work just as great. If you are talking about have a LAN party type thing (a LAN party is when several of your buddies bring their computers to your house and you play together), then I would recommend against the wireless connection. A wired connection would give you better response and lower latency. When you get into alot of wireless connections, the router and its software have to work harder and faster, and you might see some degradation in performance on the routers part. You might also get data crashes and your game might just crash. With a wired connection, your computer will act as the DNS server and assign each XBox its own IP address. This will help in running your games much faster and this way is also easier to set-up. The only thing is, you will have CAT 6 cabling running everywhere.
