then the indians would have stayed there, or some other people would have discovered it.

Mexico really isn't a good comparison, because Mexico has had a strong European influence since the 1500s, which is longer than Anglo America. There are only a few very remote cultures on earth that have not had significant European influence.

The question asks about land, which presumably means the environment. Native peoples have traditionally had a close connection with the land, so it would be possible that they might have made better efforts toward conservation.

Chances are the person who assigned this feels that without European influence, the native culture would not have developed polluting industries. However, that is purely speculation. Things might have developed in a different way, but exactly what that way is can't be determined.

1. If the Europeans had never come, it would be some other country. But, there would have been no Revolutionary war, and maybe no Civil or World Wars.
2. The NA's could have become a world power.
3. Global Warming may not have started yet because the U.S. is partially to blame with it's consumtion of gas and it's use of cars and industry.
4. No horses would have been in America.
5. The continent would not have illegal immigration issues today.

Good luck on 200 words but I think we would look a lot more like ethnic Mexico.

The Europeans brought culture that is so suffocating it is hard to imagine how the native Indians would have progressed without European influence. There would probably be a much stronger fusion of Pagan beliefs into society.

The Native Americans had progressed very little in the 1000 years before the white man came. I see no reason to believe that they would be any different from what they were when the white man first came. With out the white man the land would unchanged from a wilderness.

Well the land would be different. For one it wouldnt be as polluted as it as now. Also very important there would be no horses in North America. The europeans brought horses over on ships. They were extinct by the native americans eating them.
