Taskless. Forceless. Powerless.
Belongs in the garbage.
If you're a home user just get a Rigid.
If you're a pro, then get Hilti.
If you're a pro and not know the difference then you're an idiot.

While I do agree that you get what you pay for, I must say that I have never had any problems with my compound saw. As a typical Dewalt user - I was skeptical about buying task force, but in all honesty - the saw has never given me any problems. I use it regularly for cutting crown, base-boards and trim - works like a charm. As far as other tools - I am not really sure. For drivers, nailers etc. I would definitely stick with a brand like Dewalt or Makita - However, I have heard great things about Rigid.

DT, you are THE MAN. Ill have to agree with DT here. Task Force??? Sounds like some Chinese crap to me. Theres a saying I would like to convey to you right now, and Im sure you have heard it, but Ill say it again. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. 40 bucks wont buy you something that will last you more than a year or two. Just spend a little more on something that will last four times as long. Milwaukee, DeWalt, Etc. ........NOT TASK FORCE.

For light use they are OK , but if you are going to be using it heavy , it probably won't last long.
