The tortoise was NOT on steroids...he was, however, doing some really powerful methamphetamines, which are also banned by whoever's in charge of these animal races...Matter of fact, I can tell you who sold him the speed...it was none other than Elmer Fudd, who won a nice chunk of change betting on the tortoise...now guess who the rabbit was...that's right...It was Bugs Bunny, and I'm glad he got beat...He's always bragging and everything...I say "Go, Tortoise!"...yeah...that's right

The hare took lessons from the English Football team, he didn't train properly for the event, he was overpaid, slacked around, had a poor attitude, and then expected the trophy to be given to him for turning up.

Actually steroids generally don't help a lot with endurance. He might have been blood doping, though.

It was a possiblity....however there were administative mistakes made by the lab handling his urine sample...so I guess we'll never know.
